2025 Fundraiser: "Step by Step" 

As a part of the museum’s initiative to protect and preserve our collections of historical artifacts and documented history of the Alix and area from pioneer days onward, we need to seal the 2,000 square feet of ceiling from the attic space. This renovation is necessary to ensure that the inert gas fire suppression system planned for installation will be fully effective in smothering any fire without damaging the contents of the museum.

To this end we have placed donation boxes in the following businesses in Alix:

The Pantry (Sweet Crumbs Cakery)
Home Hardware
Alix Village Shoppe (Thrift Store)
IDA Alix Drugs
Alix & Area Community Resource Centre

Alix Wagon Wheel Museum donors may purchase “Steps” (or feet) for $15 per foot. To donate, please:

1. Fill out the middle section of the donation coupon including your name,
address or email, the number of feet you wish to purchase indicating the total donation and
method of payment.

2. Sign the footprint and tear off the coupon.

3. Place your information section and signed footprint with your cash or cheque donation into the donation box.

If you choose to e-transfer, please send your transfer to alixmuseum@gmail.com. You will receive a tax receipt by
mail or email.
