From “Valentine Schnepf” as told by Maggie (Schnepf) Sanderson “Father’s name was Valentine Schnepf.  He came to Canada in 1905 and bought land in the Carroll District.  We didn’t move up until 1911.  We left New Windsor, Illinois, by train.
